Grab your friends, pull up a chair and make sure your pants have some stretch because these 8 Tweed Artisan Food Festival foodie events will have you feeling stuffed and satisfied!

The Tweed Artisan Food Festival is serving up bespoke foodie events across 10 delicious days (21st – 30th October). Dynamic venues from coast to country will be opening their doors to showcase The Tweed’s diverse and abundant culinary flavours, culture and collective pride of our local producers, chefs and farmers. 

From a beachside 2-course lunch to a 6-course share-style Greek feast, these foodie events are served best with good company…

POTAGER GARDEN TOUR AND LONG TABLE LUNCH 

Friday 21 October | 11:30am – 3:30pm 

Potager – A Kitchen Garden invites you to come and enjoy a cocktail in their flourishing kitchen garden. Their gardeners Matt and Mick will delight you with their insight for growing and nurturing the fresh, seasonal produce that will fill your plate in the shared dining 3-course lunch to follow.

FARM & CO’S FARM TO PLATE EXPERIENCE
 

Sunday 23 October | Bookings from 11:30am 

Farm and Co Kingscliff invites you to indulge in a shared 3-course paddock-to-plate long lunch experience. The recently revamped restaurant at Farm & Co – an organic working farm in the heart of Cudgen – will be offering a dining experience like no other, with a contemporary menu showcasing fresh farm produce, seasonal ingredients and sustainable wines.

PAPER DAISY INDIGENOUS LUNCH
 

Thursday 27 October | 12pm 

Enjoy a 2-course lunch by the beach at Halcyon House’s beautiful Paper Daisy Restaurant in Cabarita Beach. This special event will feature local indigenous ingredients and guests will hear from a special guest speaker throughout the dining experience.

LOLITA’S MEXICAN CANTINA BANQUET

Thursday 27 October | 5pm 

Lolita’s Mexican Cantina will be bringing a fiesta to the Tweed Artisan Food Festival. Chef Armando will be creating an epic 3-course shared feast celebrating the best local produce from the region through authentic and contemporary Mexican flavours!

SPRING GREEK FEAST
 

Friday 28 October | 5pm – 8pm 

Opa! Taverna is hosting a tantalising 6-course share-style dining experience highlighting the best Spring produce from The Tweed region. This coastal Kingscliff venue will be dishing up an authentic atmosphere through food, drink and venue that will have you thinking your island hopping in Greece.

Friday 28 October | 5pm – 9pm 

Head to Apex Dining to soak in the stunning vista and savor an artfully presented 4-course grazing menu Tap your toes to the Northern Rivers premier Jazz/Blues Band The Trombone Kelly Gang. Arrive early to wander the art-filled halls of Tweed Regional Gallery & Margaret Olley Art Centre.

NATIVE SPRING FEAST
 

Saturday 29 October | 5pm 

Mavis Kitchen goes native with a 5-course tasting menu designed around native produce and sustainable proteins presented by Chef Simon. Experience the magic through food, stories, and the amazing views that Mavis’ Kitchen calls home. Begin with nibbles and native cocktails in the garden, before heading to your table with a view to the produce garden.

LAZY LONG LUNCH AT JOHNNY’S PLACE
 

Sunday 30 October | 12pm – 5pm 

Enjoy a lazy long lunch at Johnny Franco’s Place in the art deco town of Murwillumbah. Chef Adam Housen’s 5-course lunch will showcase the diverse produce available here in The Tweed sourcing food and drink grown and produced within the Caldera.
